Since 1980, PremaTech Advanced Ceramics has been designing, engineering, machining and grinding high-purity silicon carbides and other advanced ceramic materials and components for applications in aerospace & defense, commercial, life sciences, medical, optics, research & development, power generation and semiconductor manufacturing.

We use science-based manufacturing methods supported by ISO 9001:2008-certified management systems (Registration #951 07 4242) to ensure that customers' orders meet the most demanding specifications. Our dedication to best practices is strengthened further by a commitment to meeting ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and CCR (Central Contractor Registration) requirements so the components we manufacture may be used in the most sensitive applications.

PremaTech is a woman-owned business which receives annual certification from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.

Our modern manufacturing facility is located in the Worcester Airport Industrial Park in Worcester, MA, about 40 miles west of Boston. The plant is equipped with a state-of-the-art metrology laboratory, a central coolant recovery system and a variety of modern machinery dedicated to the production of components made from advanced materials.

Harvey Clough, General Manager Harvey is responsible for PremaTech's day-to-day operations. He has held a variety of management and engineering positions with manufacturers of optics and lighting products, including Janos Technology and GE Lighting. He holds a MBA and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.

Dwighd Delgado, Operations Manager Dwighd is in charge of PremaTech's manufacturing and engineering activities. Prior to joining the company, he was with Strategic Operations Solutions, a manufacturing operations consulting firm that advises clients worldwide. Earlier in his career, he held management positions with Spectris, Fusion Systems Corporation, Brüel & Kjaer Vibro GmbH, and NDC Infrared Engineering. Dwighd earned his M.S. in Engineering Management from George Washington University and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
